LOOK OF THE DAY:SPRING BRUNCH

Spring is definitely my favorite time of year for fashion. I absolutely love the florals, pastels, and lace that pop up in stores around this time. I bought this adorable anthropologie top brand new at a second hand shop and I can already tell it's going to be a staple in my closet. I've also been loving throwing this light weight army jacket over all my spring outfits. What have your spring staples been?
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Happy Spring!

LOOK OF THE DAY:NEW YEAR

Sweater: Urban Outfitters//Vest: Khols//Boots:UrbanOG.com

Watch:Target//Necklace: Etsy

I know, shame on me for not wearing anything festive on new years eve, but hey,a sequin mini dress wouldn't be the best choice for Texas BBQ and sparklers. So i went with a striped sweater instead and layered a vest over it and paired it with my combat boots. I also accessorized with my favorite new tortoise shell watch. So I guess you could say I went for a "casual festive" look because i had a touch of fur on my vest and some studs on my shoes.

My sisters outfit, Shirt:Thrifted//Boots:Aldo//Scarf: I made it

I hope ya'll had a fantastic new years eve and our excited for 2013! I defiantly want to make more time for bloging this next year so make sure to follow me for future posts. I hope you all have an amazing 2013.

DIY:SHARPIE MUG

I don't know about you, but I'm defiantly a last minute Christmas shopper(lets be honest,i basically just do every thing last minute.) So, I thought I would share with you these DIY mugs I did this afternoon. There super easy to make and they could be a great gift for anyone depending on how you do them.

This is how easy they are...

1. Buy a plain white mug.(Dollar store,Target,Walmart, etc.)
2.Decorate the mug with Sharpies, the possibilities are endless!
3.Bake in the oven on 350 degrees for 30 min.
4.Let cool
Tip: Make sure you don't touch the sharpie until it cools!
5.Keep for yourself, or fill with your friends favorite goodies for Christmas!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and hopefully i gave you a new, easy gift idea.

Happy Holidays,

MANI MADNESS: GRADIENT GLITTER

Revlon Colorstay: Stiletto// Sally Hanson X-treme wear : Strobe Light

I'm usually not that adventurous in my nail art, but something about the holiday time always brings out my more creative side. So i actually tried black nail polish for the first time!(I know, so shocking!) I couldn't just leave it at that, so I did gradient glitter effect with a pink/silver glitter polish.
To create the gradient effect paint over 2/3 of the black polish with a super thin layer of the glitter, then paint another layer of glitter over only 1/3 of the black. For the third layer you just want to pat some more of the glitter polish up against the bottom edge of your nail. It's super easy, right?
I hope you all enjoyed! Have a wonderful day and holiday season!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope all of you who celebrate thanksgiving have had a lovely holiday full of fun times and lots of food. My thanksgiving consisted of sleeping in late, making pie, seeing my family(including my sissy!), and playing some poker(of which I won). I thought I would also take this time to thank all you reading this for supporting and following my blog, it really does mean a lot to me.
Regardless of if you celebrate thanksgiving, I hope you all had a wonderful day.

LOOK OF THE DAY: SWEATER TIGHTS

Hi their. Okay, first I will state the obvious; I have not blogged in forever! I've actually missed it a lot and I really am going to try to start blogging more, despite being so busy. If you have any request, be sure to let me know.

Sweater:Target//Shorts:H&M//Tights:DSW//Shoes:UrbanOG

As for my outfit, I have literally been waiting to wear these sweater tights since school started, but it is still warm where I live. But it got to the point where I basically couldn't wait any longer, so I wore them on a day when the high temperature was 80 degrees.
I wanted to make the tights a statement piece in my outfit, so I paired them with all neutral colors. I've also been loving transitioning my favorite summer pieces into fall outfits so I wore my high wasted shorts over my tights with a long knitted sweater from target. Oh, and I'm basically obsessed with these studded combat boots i bought for this fall, so i accessorized with some gold arm candy to match the studs.
Thanks so much for reading! I'm super sorry I haven't posted in a wile, that will defiantly change. I hope your having a great day!

-Danielle :)
