Spring is definitely my favorite time of year for fashion. I absolutely love the florals, pastels, and lace that pop up in stores around this time. I bought this adorable anthropologie top brand new at a second hand shop and I can already tell it's going to be a staple in my closet. I've also been loving throwing this light weight army jacket over all my spring outfits. What have your spring staples been?
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Happy Spring!

Sweater: Urban Outfitters//Vest: Khols//

Watch:Target//Necklace: Etsy

I know, shame on me for not wearing anything festive on new years eve, but hey,a sequin mini dress wouldn't be the best choice for Texas BBQ and sparklers. So i went with a striped sweater instead and layered a vest over it and paired it with my combat boots. I also accessorized with my favorite new tortoise shell watch. So I guess you could say I went for a "casual festive" look because i had a touch of fur on my vest and some studs on my shoes.

My sisters outfit, Shirt:Thrifted//Boots:Aldo//Scarf: I made it

I hope ya'll had a fantastic new years eve and our excited for 2013! I defiantly want to make more time for bloging this next year so make sure to follow me for future posts. I hope you all have an amazing 2013.

I don't know about you, but I'm defiantly a last minute Christmas shopper(lets be honest,i basically just do every thing last minute.) So, I thought I would share with you these DIY mugs I did this afternoon. There super easy to make and they could be a great gift for anyone depending on how you do them.

This is how easy they are...

1. Buy a plain white mug.(Dollar store,Target,Walmart, etc.)
2.Decorate the mug with Sharpies, the possibilities are endless!
3.Bake in the oven on 350 degrees for 30 min.
4.Let cool
Tip: Make sure you don't touch the sharpie until it cools!
5.Keep for yourself, or fill with your friends favorite goodies for Christmas!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and hopefully i gave you a new, easy gift idea.

Happy Holidays,

Revlon Colorstay: Stiletto// Sally Hanson X-treme wear : Strobe Light

I'm usually not that adventurous in my nail art, but something about the holiday time always brings out my more creative side. So i actually tried black nail polish for the first time!(I know, so shocking!) I couldn't just leave it at that, so I did gradient glitter effect with a pink/silver glitter polish.
To create the gradient effect paint over 2/3 of the black polish with a super thin layer of the glitter, then paint another layer of glitter over only 1/3 of the black. For the third layer you just want to pat some more of the glitter polish up against the bottom edge of your nail. It's super easy, right?
I hope you all enjoyed! Have a wonderful day and holiday season!

Hi their. Okay, first I will state the obvious; I have not blogged in forever! I've actually missed it a lot and I really am going to try to start blogging more, despite being so busy. If you have any request, be sure to let me know.

As for my outfit, I have literally been waiting to wear these sweater tights since school started, but it is still warm where I live. But it got to the point where I basically couldn't wait any longer, so I wore them on a day when the high temperature was 80 degrees.
I wanted to make the tights a statement piece in my outfit, so I paired them with all neutral colors. I've also been loving transitioning my favorite summer pieces into fall outfits so I wore my high wasted shorts over my tights with a long knitted sweater from target. Oh, and I'm basically obsessed with these studded combat boots i bought for this fall, so i accessorized with some gold arm candy to match the studs.
Thanks so much for reading! I'm super sorry I haven't posted in a wile, that will defiantly change. I hope your having a great day!

Hi there. Man has this week been busy! Between school, cross country, and re-doing my new room I feel like I've neglected my lovely blog a-bit, which i defiantly want to change. Also, just a little bit of info about my new room, I'm moving into my sisters old room and I am so excited! Yesterday we painted it and I'm obsessed with the color(The pictures were taken before I painted it). Tomorrow we have the task of painting my furniture and starting to make my curtains. Make sure to tell me if you want to see a  virtual room tour once I'm done.
Anyway, I'm still loving my american flag shorts I made here, this time i paired them with my t-shirt from the junior Olympics and my Toms for a casual look. For accessories I wore a red belt, a bandanna, and of course some arm candy. Thanks so much for reading and thank you to everyone that has started following my blog recently, I appreciate it so much! I hope everyone has a great week!

Dress:Buffalo Exchange//Vest:Ross//Bracelets:Greece

Hi there! These are a few pictures I took on my moms phone a few weeks ago and I found them and  thought I would post them. I recently have fallen in love with this maxi dress because the length of it makes it look more dressy but the cotton material gives it a more casual feel. I paired it with my crochet vest that goes with everything as well as my cut-out flats and bracelets my lovely sister got for me in Greece.
I hope your having a great weekend. For me, it feels like my last weekend of freedom because i go back to school on monday...EEEP! Also, let me know if you like the mirror pictures or when other people take my pictures better. Thanks for reading!
